How we started
In 2021, AquaOrg Technologies was born with a simple vision: to transform the aquaculture industry using technology and education. The founders, passionate about sustainable fish farming, saw the untapped potential in combining innovative tech with knowledge-sharing to address the challenges faced by fish farmers worldwide. Their journey began with the launch of Pescademy, an online platform aimed at providing affordable, accessible education to aspiring and current aquaculture entrepreneurs. The idea was to help individuals from all walks of life especially those in rural communities gain the skills they need to start, grow and scale successful fish farming businesses.
Our story so far
Since its founding in 2021, AquaOrg Technologies and Pescademy have empowered a new generation of fish farmers through innovation, education, and sustainability.
They've expanded training to learners in 10+ African countries, provided hands-on, practical courses that address real aquaculture challenges, and helped hundreds of entrepreneurs become successful Aquapreneurs — improving food security, livelihoods and job creation across communities.
